UPDATE - November 17, 2006 We have the Executive Office Phone Number: 202-380-4393. Executives for XM include: Jon Zellner - Senior Vice President/Music Programming - Jon.Zellner@xmradio.com If that doesn't work for you, call the main switch board @ 202-380-4000 or 866-962-2557. We've had a couple of subscribers get return calls from these folks. Apparently, they are supposed to call back within 2 hours. Good luck and keep up the good work! Finally, here is a response we received from Jon earlier this morning: November 16, 2006: Everyone: First of all, I would like to thank all you that have signed and sent emails to the XM. It is astonishing on how many envelops I have had to stuff and mail. Secondly, I haven’t heard anything from the XM management yet, but the bulk of the USPS mail will drop in their offices tomorrow and Monday. I also have been monitoring the main channels on XM and been listening for the ‘Holly’ promos to see if anything is said. Currently, what is said on the promos is that it will be on XM 103 until the evening of Christmas Day. I don’t know if that means anything because they still indicate U-POP is going on hiatus, but, right now it is our hope that they maybe listening. To keep this momentum going and making sure our hope becomes reality, I have another task to ask of you. This one may require a little thought, but to sweeten the deal, I have direct email personal email addresses that you can send your personal comments to. Jon.Zellner@xmradio.com --- he works directly with Eric Logan Eric.Logan@xmradio.com --- I haven’t tried this one, but based on XM’s email system, this should work. If you need talking points in your email, here are a few suggestions: - indicate how many receivers you have and how much you listen to the programming - why you bought XM in the first place - comment on how they are running their other channels (Note: one of our listeners indicate how turned off she is with the commercials) - what type of action you may take - if you are a shareholder, indicate you plan on writing to the board - if you are from a different country and listen to U-POP on XM, explain your story to them - INCLUDE THE REQUEST for a personal acknowledgement of the email - Refer to the open complaint letter for more talking points Basically, we need to give our emails and names even more meaning. So, take a few minutes out of your day and tell them how you really feel about them putting U-POP on hiatus during the holidays. If you already have sent a personal comment to the talkprogramming@xmradio.com – forward it to these guys. If you do send an email to these guys, please cc: me if you would like me to send a printed copy to them via the USPS. via the contact us page. Keep up the good work! Remember to call them directly.
